I am a resident of Guelph and I am contacting you and the whole of Guelph City Council in order to express my support for the adoption of Ranked Ballots. Having our City Council be as reflective of the electorate a possible is critical to good governance and directly affects every strategic direction and decision City Council makes. Our current First-Past-the Post, plurality based system is outdated and severely flawed. In fact, there is virtual consensus among those who study voting methods that it is the worst method!
